OH-Sen: "The more we work together" ad is paying off

The TV ad that exposed Mike DeWine's blinded support of George W. Bush on almost every issue is giving Sherrod Brown a huge cushion in the Ohio U.S. Senate race.

When I saw the television ad, it easily stood out as the most clever, yet very real, television ad of this campaign season.  And just one week after it began airing, Sherrod Brown now has a 10-point lead over incumbent republican Mike DeWine, according to a SurveyUSA Poll:

In an election for United States Senator from Ohio today..Democrat Sherrod Brown defeats incumbent Republican Mike DeWine, according to a SurveyUSA poll conducted for WCPO-TV Cincinnati, WKYC-TV Cleveland, and WYTV-TV Youngstown. Brown, who represents Ohio's 13th District in Congress, unseats DeWine, 52% to 42% in a vote today.

This race should be a dead heat, but it isn't.  However, Rasmussen Reports polling group still has yet to project the race as a Democratic victory in their national state-by-state Senate analysis.  Instead, it is listed as "Leans Democrat".
